A massive well done to our House Captains and Deputies for running a ‘Spotacular’ morning of activities for the whole school, including Nursery. They rose to the challenge and took the lead. Brilliant job guys – super proud of you! Lots of money was raised but we need to wait until Monday for the P7 pupils to count it before we can share with you how much was raised.
A great morning with a fantastic team effort. Thank you Team Beauly!
Photos of our fabulous House Leaders.
After the success of our very first ‘Fruity Week’ a couple of weeks ago the SNAG committee have decided to make it a regular event. Next week (starting the 20th November) will be the start of our next Fruity Week and we plan to have these every fortnight. Please support this by encouraging your child to have fruit for their snack as much as possible during these weeks (and others if possible). The reward for the winning class will be a week off homework! The winners last time were the P7 class and they very much enjoyed their reward!
Please could all orders for Tempest photos be returned to the school office by Friday 17th November.
Due to levels of interest we have decided that instead of having an information sharing session about the Good to be Green initiative next Thursday, the House Captains and Deputy Captains will issue an information letter to parents from these classes. The House Captains and Deputies will work with Mrs Fraser-Lee to produce this. They will also be responsible for ‘training’ the P4/5 and P5/6 class teachers and pupils on how to effectively use the system in class.
A massive congratulations go to our very own Mrs Forbes who was a finalist in the Highland Heroes Awards last night at the Kingsmills Hotel. Glynis was nominated by Harry and his mum Carrie for the Classroom Assistant of the year. We had a lovely evening celebrating her achievement. Glynis does a wonderful job here in Beauly, as do all our fabulous PSAs, and we are very proud of her.
Thank you to everyone who came along to enjoy the P1 assembly this morning – they were superstars! All the staff and older pupils are very proud of the way they performed.
A reminder that the next Parent Council Meeting is on Monday evening in the staffroom building at 7pm – everyone welcome.
Christmas Card orders were due in today but we will still accept these on Monday if anyone has forgotten.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Please could all Christmas Card orders be handed in to school by tomorrow, 3rd November.
Also please could all slips be returned as soon as possible if you would like your child to have a family photo taken with their other siblings in school.
